Oleksandr Riepkin took part in the “Rebirth of Ukraine” trade mission to Denmark

Oleksandr Riepkin, Vice President and Board Member of the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council, took part in the “Rebirth of Ukraine” trade mission to Denmark. The mission aimed to present Ukraine’s investment potential, establish new partnerships, and promote innovative projects contributing to the country’s economic recovery through the implementation of modern technologies — particularly in the field of renewable energy and green hydrogen.

During the visit to Copenhagen, Oleksandr Riepkin participated in the UA-DK Economic Recovery Business Forum “Ukraine as a Green Demonstration of the EU”, held on 27 October 2025 at SWECO Denmark headquarters. As part of a panel discussion, participants explored opportunities for the development of clean energy, infrastructure, and innovative technologies as key drivers of Ukraine’s sustainable recovery and integration into the European energy market.

As part of the mission programme, the delegation also visited CopenHill — an innovative waste-to-energy plant in the heart of Copenhagen, which combines advanced environmental technologies with urban architecture, serving as a model of successful energy transition and sustainability.

Oleksandr Riepkin expressed his gratitude to the Embassy of Ukraine in Denmark and Ambassador Andrii Yanevskyi for their support, organization of meetings, and facilitation of the Ukrainian delegation’s active participation in the mission.

Such initiatives reaffirm that Ukraine is a reliable partner in Europe’s energy transition, and the development of renewable energy and hydrogen technologies is a cornerstone of the country’s sustainable growth and integration into the European Union.
