XXI International Scientific-Practical Internet Conference "Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in the XXI Century"

Member of the Board of the Energy Association "Ukrainian Hydrogen Council", Oleksandr Riepkin, has received recognition and the honor of being a keynote speaker at the XXI International Scientific-Practical Internet Conference "Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in the XXI Century". The topic of his presentation was "International Diplomacy in Hydrogen Energy".

The aim of the conference is to discuss the issues and prospects of developing the use of renewable energy sources, electric and bioenergy resources, geothermal heat and the country's heating supply through the energy of the sun, wind, hydropower resources, as well as the implementation of measures for energy conservation and energy efficiency.

As part of the conference, Oleksandr Riepkin informed the participants about the importance of hydrogen energy in the modern world and highlighted the prospects for its international development.

In his report, he drew attention to the significance of diplomatic efforts in the field of hydrogen energy. Oleksandr Riepkin emphasized that cooperation between countries and international agreements are key factors for the development of this promising field. He underlined the need for joint efforts to create international standards and legal norms that will facilitate the rapid deployment of hydrogen energy and ensure sustainable development.

Oleksandr Riepkin highlighted the important achievements that have taken place on the international arena of hydrogen energy. He emphasized several key events that reflect significant progress in this field.
The first important event was the Recovery Plan for Ukraine, which aims to develop renewable energy in the country. This plan is aimed at replacing coal-fired power plants with environmentally friendly energy sources, in particular hydrogen energy. The implementation of this plan opens new opportunities for Ukraine in the field of hydrogen energy and contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

The second significant event was the RePowerEU project, which is aimed at developing renewable energy in the European Union. As part of this project, Ukraine had the opportunity to actively cooperate with European partners in the field of hydrogen energy. This opens up new prospects for the development of the domestic hydrogen market and stimulates investment in this sector.

The third important event was the signing of a memorandum on strategic partnership between Ukraine and the European Commission in the field of renewable gases. This memorandum recognizes the importance of hydrogen energy and affirms joint efforts towards the development of this sector. Also, two hydrogen valleys in Ukraine were officially recognized on the world map, which is an important acknowledgment of Ukraine's potential in the field of hydrogen energy.

These events testify to the significant progress Ukraine has made on the international arena of hydrogen energy. In conclusion of his report, Oleksandr Riepkin called on all present to further cooperate and unite efforts to achieve a common goal - building a sustainable, safe, and future-oriented world through hydrogen energy.
