The Energy Association "Ukrainian Hydrogen Council" held a meeting with representatives of the Renewable Energy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to jointly develop a project using hydrogen energy

In 2021, the Energy Association "Ukrainian Hydrogen Council" provided a tracker on which a 6 kW solar module is mounted. Over two years, the mini solar station has saved about 30% of the total amount of electricity consumed by the Renewable Energy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

At the previous meeting, the Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Oleksii Zurian, presented plans to develop an electrolyzer, and the Vice President of the Energy Association "Ukrainian Hydrogen Council", Oleksandr Diachenko, supported the initiative to create a stand for the project.

The project aims to create a demonstration stand for electrolysis for the production of green hydrogen for the generation of electricity. A project model was presented at the meeting, which includes a 50 W solar panel, an electrolyzer, a wet-type gas holder, and a hydrogen fuel cell under development.

Cooperation between the Energy Association "Ukrainian Hydrogen Council" and the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is an important step toward the use of environmentally friendly sources of energy in Ukraine. Both sides will contribute their knowledge and experience to the project for its successful implementation
