Germany has prepared a loan for Ukraine for the development of hydrogen projects

On February 7, Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock visited Ukraine for the second time.

During the negotiations with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, the foreign ministers paid special attention to the development of cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy. Mutually beneficial projects of Ukrainian and German companies are of strategic importance to achieve this goal: "Interaction in the field of hydrogen energy is one of those issues that closely links the successful future of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Germany."

During the joint press conference, Annalena Baerbock noted that Germany has prepared a loan for Ukraine for the development of hydrogen projects and plans to provide further financial assistance in this area.

"We invest like the EU in many projects in Ukraine. So last time I made it clear that as far as hydrogen is concerned, we will be implementing projects together with German business. That is why we have prepared a financial loan and are planning further financial assistance in this area, as we, as a partner, stand on the side of Ukraine."
