Oleksandr Riepkin has participated in the meeting of the Danube Commission’s Working Group on Technical Matters

The President of the Energy Association “Ukrainian Hydrogen Council” Oleksandr Riepkin has participated in the meeting of the Danube Commission’s Working Group on Technical Matters as part of a Ukrainian delegation, where he informed about potential of Ukraine for production and transportation of "green" hydrogen, in particular by the Danube.



Oleksandr Riepkin presented to the members of the Working Group a pilot project in Southern Bessarabia, Odessa region, aimed at the production of electricity from renewable energy sources, the production of "green" hydrogen and its export to the EU.

It should be noted that Bessarabia has significant advantages for the production of "green" hydrogen, namely the high potential of solar and wind activity, developed infrastructure. The advantage of the region is also the ability to use the Danube as a fresh water resource and logistics route.
